Authorities have tracked down an alleged high risk fugitive on the Mid-North Coast, accused of multiple DV offences and break and entering to commit an indictable offence, in an early morning sting.
Kurt William Amos, 34, was arrested at an Upper Corindi property on Tuesday after members of the North Coast Domestic Violence High Risk Offender Team – assisted by the Region Enforcement Squad, Dog Unit, and Coffs/Clarence Proactive Crime Team – swooped in.
Officers had been searching for Amos since March 2025 on outstanding warrants for alleged domestic violence offences including assault and property offences in Coffs Harbour.
Amos appeared at Coffs Harbour Local Court on June 10 charged with break and enter to commit an indictable offence – not steal or damage, common assault, and four counts of contravening an apprehended violence order.
He was formally refused bail and will return to court on Jun 17.
