There was an eclectic mix of styles on show as Coffs Harbour Senior College Year 12 students showed up to celebrate their graduation.
Pant suits, pouts and even a tie dyed jacket featured along with some huge smiles of relief as a difficult year came to an end.
Not only have the students endured two years of hurdles but their formal also hit a snag.
The usual venue wasn’t able to cater to the number of students and with options running out, staff and the school community got together to host a DIY formal for the second year running.
But judging by the smiles on show, it did little to dampen their enthusiasm.
Students across the region have been celebrating the formal season in recent weeks including Toormina High and Bishop Druitt College.
