Bishop Druitt College year six students celebrated their graduation recently at the Pacific Bay Resort.
More than 200 students, families and staff came together to mark the occasion.
“It’s been quite the ride for these students,” assistant principal (head of primary) Richard Smith said.
“They’ve endured interruptions to their schooling and their lives as a result of bushfires, floods, hail storms, and of course Covid.
“But throughout this tumultuous few years, our students have shown resilience, determination, and a willingness to support their fellow students, and their community. We are very proud of this cohort of students.”
The formal graduation was followed by dancing well into the night.
