Coffs Harbour man, 70, dead after thrown from eBike on Coramba Road
An elderly man riding an electronic bike has died after being thrown onto a road at Red Hill. The road was closed for a stretch of more than two kilometres sending traffic on a long diversion.

A cyclist has tragically lost his life after he was launched from his eBike west of Coffs Harbour on Friday morning.
The 70-year-old was reportedly riding an electric bike on Coramba Road near Red Hill before he was thrown from the bike and slammed into the roadway shortly after 6.30am.
The man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics but he could not be saved.
A crime scene has been established by officers from the Coffs and Clarence District Command.
Inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash have commenced.
Red Hill was closed on Coramba Road from both sides as investigations continued into the fatality.
Eastbound traffic was being redirected from the Coffs Harbour Lawn Cemetery to Eastbank Rd and through to Bucca Road.
Westbound drivers were also advised to access Bucca and Eastbank Roads avoiding traffic through Nana Glen due to a fallen tree across the road.
Police are urging anyone with dashcam footage to contact Coffs and Clarence Police.
A report is being prepared for the coroner.
