POLICE believe they have found the body of missing Sydney woman Qi Yu dumped in bushland near the M1 north of Sydney.
Police this morning found a woman’s body in bushland about one kilometre off the M1 motorway exit at Mount Kuring-gai.
The body, reportedly wrapped, has been removed from the bushland.
While the remains are yet to be formally identified, a police spokesman said detectives believe the body is that of Ms Yu.
Ms Yu was allegedly murdered by her flatmate inside their shared home at Campsie following an argument over money, police say.
Police believe she was murdered after discovering large amounts of blood in the Campsie property and her Toyota Corolla, which was found in the neighbouring suburb of Burwood.
Senior police sources say Ms Yu was talking to her mother on the internet when their call suddenly ended about 7.15pm on Friday, June 8.

When her frantic mother was not able to get in contact with her, she raised the alarm.
The following morning police began to question a 19-year-old man Ms Yu had sub-leased one of her rooms to but he was taken to hospital after complaining of health problems.
The day after Ms Yu was allegedly murdered, officers found her Corolla car parked on Lindsay Street, Burwood — only four kilometres from her house.
Police will allege her accused killer used Ms Yu’s car to dump her body and then borrowed another car from a friend.
Officers have also seized the second car for forensic examination.
Ms Yu’s parents — who flew out from China in the days after she went missing — have been distributing flyers at Sydney train stations which read: “Looking for Missing Girl Qi Yu” as they struggled to come to terms with their daughter’s suspected murder.
The local Berowa community also held a candlelight vigil and public prayer for the 28-year-old at the end of June to show support for Ms Yu’s family and the searchers.
One northbound lane of the highway has been closed, causing traffic to queue more than two kilometres south of the crime scene.
