Disengaged: Triple killer Kon Georgiou finally passes phone hidden up his bottom for 12 days

EXCLUSIVE: Nature finally caught up with triple killer Kon Georgiou, the Goulburn Supermax prisoner who was hiding a mobile up his rear end for 12 days.

THE strain is finally over for triple killer Kon Georgiou — the maximum security prisoner has finally passed the mobile phone that has been stuck up his bottom for 12 days.

Splashdown happened in an observation cell at Goulburn Supermax on Tuesday after Georgiou went on a hunger strike in an attempt to keep the banned phone safely tucked in nature’s pocket.

A spokesman from Corrective Services NSW confirmed: “This successful outcome was a result of the normal procedures used by Corrective Services NSW in situations such as this to rid prisons of mobile phones.”

Corrective Services minister David Elliott said: “Georgiou will no doubt sleep a little more comfortably tonight. I’m delighted that he no longer has access to a mobile phone and will remain in isolation in Supermax.”

The Rebels bikie has been hanging on grimly since metal was first detected in his bottom on February 11. He had been spotted with a phone in jail and placed on a new Body Orifice Security Scanner (BOSS) chair which picked up a foreign object.

Georgiou claimed it was metalwork put in place after surgery and refused to remove it. He was placed in an observation cell inside the High Risk Management Correctional Centre where an uneasy standoff ensued.

Georgiou claimed the metal detected was from surgery and then went on hunger strike. He has now been moved to a segregation cell in Goulburn Supermax.

The weight training killer went on hunger strike in a bid not to pass the phone and guards listening intently for a ringtone became concerned he may have had the tiny device set to vibrate.

But the impasse ended with a full flush and Georgiou’s return to the BOSS chair showed an all clear.

He was caught using phones in jail before and in 2010 was rumbled using one to update 150 friends on Facebook.
