Soon-to-be-Duchess Meghan poses in pyjamas to serve up breakfast tips

PREVIOUSLY unseen photos of Meghan Markle in polka-dot pyjama bottoms show her utterly relaxed a year before she met Prince Harry.

POLKA-dot pyjama bottoms teamed with silver trainers are hardly standard wear for a British princess.

But these shots of Meghan Markle giving healthy breakfast tips show her relaxed to the max.

The newly unearthed pictures for Canadian magazine Flare in October 2015, a year before she met Prince Harry, show Meghan in a range of casual clothing.

The giggly fun is a far cry from the demure frocks and coats she now wears.

American Meghan uploaded the images to a now-defunct blog and, in a two-minute video, said of her slouchy look: “I love it. It speaks of that Californian relaxed feeling I’ve grown up with but taken up to that really chic level.

“If you can pull it off and no one’s gonna say you look like you should still be in bed, then go for it!”

But the Duchess of Sussex, filmed tucking into ricotta cheese on grainy toast, and an apple, may be dressing down less often in future — as The Sun on Sunday can reveal she is taking etiquette lessons.

The 37-year-old is more than halfway through a course in language, decorum and royal protocol.

She is being coached by an aide from society bible Debrett’s, and upper-crust manners expert ­William Hanson.

It comes after Meghan caused shockwaves by closing a car door herself when attending a do this week.

A Kensington Palace insider said: “It is standard practice for anyone entering the Royal Family to receive a few pointers.

“But because Meghan is American, and has had a very different upbringing, arguably she has more to learn.

“Advisers have been teach­ing her everything from the ‘Windsor wave’ and silver-service dining, to pronunciation and exiting a car gracefully.

“She has also started replacing American words and phrases such as rest room, trash and pants with the English equivalents — loo or lavatory, rubbish and trousers.

“It was politely suggested she stop using the name fanny-pack and use rucksack instead. Similarly, just as most Americans use a soft ‘t’ in words like water and butter, Meghan now says these in the RP (received pronunciation) way.

“She has taken to it all like a duck to water. For her, it’s another acting job.”

It is understood she also had pre-wedding training before tying the knot with Harry, 34, in May. As well as guidance on charity work and meeting the public, she was taught formal dining rules by the Queen’s assistant private secretary Samantha Cohen.

Fans have already begun to notice a change. Some claimed she had a British twang on ITV’s documentary, Queen Of The World. Twitter was awash with comments calling her accent “plummy”.
