They’re lookalike sisters with very famous other-halves compared to “twins” by friends – proving Michael Clarke has a lot of work to do if he wants to get back in the good books with his girlfriend Jade Yarbrough and her big sister Jasmine.
Most Australians are familiar with cricket legend Clarke and Jasmine’s husband, Today host Karl Stefanovic.
But not many know much about the two Yarbrough sisters who have captured their hearts.
Shoe designer Jasmine, 38, married Stefanovic four years ago while 30-year-old Jade only recently became official with the former Australian Test cricket captain in August.
Though the pair confirmed their budding romance with a picture showing Michael tenderly wrapping his arm around Jade as they walked through a street in Italy, Jasmine has always been the more widely-known sister.
But Jade’s messy spat with Clarke over claims he cheated on her with ex girlfriend Pip Edwards has made her a household name this week after footage of the brawl in a Noosa park last month was published by The Daily Telegraph on Wednesday.

Clarke and Jade’s romance kicks off
Now it’s left everyone wondering how the 41-year-old “bad boy” cricket star met his relatively unknown partner.
At the time speculation around their relationship began swirling in June, it was reported they had been introduced through TV personality Stefanovic.
However, Clarke, 41, is also close mates with her business partner’s husband, Travy Bacon.
Jade launched Merci Maison with Danielle Robertson which sells an “artful collision of interiors and homewares” in 2019.
The bougie homewares business is loved by some of Australia’s most-famous faces – including Pip Edwards who appeared in Home Living magazine showing off her Rose Bay home at the end of last year, featuring a candelabra from the brand in her dining room.
Side-by-side sisters
Jade was mingling with Australia’s elite long before Merci Maison launched, regularly attending Sydney socialite events – including her big sister’s star-studded parties for shoe brand, Mara & Mine.
Photos show she posed alongside fashion icon Christian Wilkins at a Mara & Mine event in 2018 as well as sitting front row beside Jasmine and her business partner Tamie Ingham at Sydney Fashion Week a year earlier.
Prior to her career on the Sydney party scene, Jade – who grew up in Ascot, one of Brisbane’s wealthiest suburbs – did a jaunt working in Los Angeles after landing a job for a marketing company in 2015.
While she only spent a year in the US before returning home and being hired as a marketing co-ordinator for luxury fashion brand Camilla, it was reported she had rubbed shoulders in LA with her sister’s “famous pals”.
Jasmine’s big break
Jasmine had worked as a fashion model in the celebrity hotspot in her 20s and was seen during her time overseas partying in LA with the likes of Lara Worthington and Miranda Kerr, according to the Daily Mail Australia.
Jasmine and Miranda even featured together in a catwalk show for David Jones in 2011.
But her big jump into the celebrity world came after she was pictured kissing TV star Stefanovic on a yacht in February 2017, just months after his split from ex-wife Cassandra Thorburn following 21 years of marriage.
Of course, Jade has also been spotted sharing saliva with a famous face too. In 2018 she was spotted kissing model Jordan Barrett as the pair sunbaked topless.
The “genetically blessed pair were spotted getting hot and heavy” on the balcony of a house in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, according to a report by The Daily Telegraph at the time.
She later had a long-term relationship with surfer and charity director Andrew Leece.
It’s not clear exactly when they split but he last appeared on Jade’s social media feed in January 2022 when the pair “conquered a few fears” and climbed Sydney Harbour Bridge together.
‘Twins’ born 8 years apart
Jade and Jasmine – who are reportedly both privately educated – are said to be incredibly close and often feature on each other’s socials.
Despite an eight year age gap, the siblings are always by each other’s sides, with Jade most notably holding the maid-of-honour title at her 2018 wedding to Stefanovic in Los Cabos, Mexico.
One post Jade dedicated to her big sister on Instagram in 2016 said they even shared a bed for four months during a difficult time, proving just how tight their bond is.
“Thank you for sharing your bed with me the last 4 months and putting a smile on my face every damn one of those days,” she wrote.
In fact, they’re so close, friends of the sister’s often compare them to “twins” in comments sections under their photos – proving no matter what is going on in each other’s lives, they’ll always be there for one another.
The lookalike siblings have also appeared in a David Jones campaign together and regularly go on holidays, with Jade most recently spending time in Aspen, Colorado with Jasmine, Stefanovic and their daughter Harper May.
Their infamous getaway to Noosa with Clarke also in tow was the latest of many trips the sisters have taken – with the cricket legend also bringing his daughter Kelsey Lee who he shares with ex-wife Kyly.
Jasmine and Jade are the daughters of successful businessman Bob Yarbrough while their mother Cheryl works as a teacher in a private school.
