Michael Clarke appears to confirm new romance with Karl Stefanovic’s sister-in-law Jade Yarbrough
Former Aussie cricket captain Michael Clarke appears to have confirmed his relationship with Karl Stefanovic’s sister-in-law.
Michael Clarke has gone Instagram-official with Jasmine Stefanovic’s sister, Jade Yarbrough.
The couple, who were reportedly introduced through TV personality Karl Stefanovic, have all but confirmed they’re an item and are currently on holiday in Italy.
Clarke appeared in a number of photos on Ms Yarbrough’s Instagram story, one with his arm around the 30-year-old.
The relationship comes eight months after Clarke’s brief romance with PE Nation designer Pip Edwards, who he dated after splitting from wife Kyly.
Clarke, 41, is also close mates with Yarbrough’s business partner’s husband, Travy Bacon.
Yarbrough, who runs a successful interiors company named Merci Maison, celebrated her 30th birthday last year.
The couple were spotted at Sonoma in Rose Bay late last month.
Clarke and his first wife Kyly share one child together, daughter Kelsey-Lee.
The former couple went to school together at Sydney’s Westfields Sports High, but didn’t start dating until many years later, after Clarke’s engagement with Lara Worthington was broken off in 2010.
“After living apart for some time, we have made the difficult decision to separate as a couple, amicably,” Clarke and Kyly said in a joint statement when they split.
Clarke represented Australia in 115 Test matches and 245 ODIs after making his international debut in 2003.
The right-hander scored 8643 Test runs, including 28 centuries and a career-best of 329 not out against India at the SCG in 2012.
He captained Australia during the unforgettable 2013/14 Ashes whitewash and the triumphant 2015 World Cup campaign.
