Heated debate over merger success

Heated debate erupted over the council’s merger report, with calls for it to be deferred over “concerns from the community” and “inaccurate” information. The report praised the success of the merger of Manly, Pittwater and Warringah council’s four years ago.

Poison alert: Dog owners warned about rat bait

A poison warning has been issued for pooch lovers on the northern beaches. Council rangers have urged pet owners to stay away from a popular off-leash park after rat bait was found and a dog required vet treatment.
