Wayne Dempsey pleads not guilty to child sex abuse charges alleged to have occured in Chatswood
An elderly man accused of historic child sex charges around the Chatswood are in the 1970s has entered a plea for all four charges, a court has heard.

In a new twist, an elderly man has denied he sexually molested a child in the 1970s, court papers reveal.
Wayne Frederick Dempsey, 75, of Chatswood was set to appear at Hornsby Local Court on Wednesday after being charged with two counts of indecent assault on male and two counts of indecent act with male.
Dempsey pleaded not guilty and was represented by a lawyer referred to as Mr Wiggins in court papers.
Police allege that Dempsey sexually abused a boy who was aged between 11 to 14 on numerous occasions and locations across Chatswood between 1976 and 1978.
The matter was adjourned to September 16.
On July 15, when Dempsey applied for bail after fresh charges were made the day before, the court heard one of the locations he allegedly sexually abused the child was at his home on Albert Ave in Chatswood, where he still resides.
