Leffler Simes  Architects have designed a new 23-storey hotel with a ground floor convention centre. It includes a grand ballroom that can seat 550 people and a level two featuring cafes, spas and retail.  Level three will feature a roof top garden over part of the area and the start of the residential tower building. The plan is to build it in the grounds of the Novotel Sydney Norwest at 1 columbia Court Baulkham Hills  at the corner of Norwest Blvde and Windsor Rd Baulkham Hills. They should go before Hills Shire Council in July 2017

THE Novotel at Norwest has been sold in an off-market deal including plans for a 23-storey slimline hotel and convention centre on the grounds of the hotel next to the existing building.

Call for Hills to Parramatta tram

THE HILLS Shire and Parramatta councils have joined forces to rally for light rail from the Hills to Parramatta to ease congestion on arterial links — wanting to remove 15,000 vehicles off roads every day.
