CAR AND TRUCK IN HIGH SPEED COLLISION ON MOTORWAY INTERCHANGE A 36-year-old man has been taken to hospital in a serious condition after the car he was driving collided with a truck on the Lighthouse Interchange in Western Sydney this afternoon. The man’s sedan had exited the M4 Motorway off-ramp westbound when it collided with a truck on the M7. He was trapped for a period, with NSW Fire & Rescue working to free him. CareFlight’s rapid response rescue helicopter was tasked to the accident at 3.29pm, landing in a clearing opposite the motorway to drop off the critical care medical team. Former councillor convicted of fraud

BREAKING: Disgraced former Hills Shire councillor Raymond Harty has been sentenced today to a 12-month suspended sentence after being convicted of fraud charges relating to more than $220,000 worth of payments.

Student numbers sinking school

THE State Government has revealed there are no plans to increase capacity at The Ponds High School despite it being near capacity, three years after it was built.
