Confidential wonders if a brush with authorities at their pre-wedding celebrations caused the much-publicised emotional scene at the front of The Star on the Gold Coast for influencer Tammy Hembrow and reality star fiance Matthew Zukowski.
This column can confirm Queensland Police officers spoke to a 29-year-old man, who attended the bucks portion of the event.
There were no arrests or charges, the man was free to go after police determined he had no items in his posession that would warrant an arrest or for charges to be laid.
Other sources have claimed the display was provoked by ongoing tensions about a potential prenuptial agreement, although Hembrow has denied those rumours.
In the paparazzi images, Zukowski wore what looked to be a cartoonish American-style prison outfit, while Hembrow looked very Marilyn Monroe in a corsetted white mini dress.
Mother of three Hembrow is seen wiping away tears while Zukowski consoles her.
The fitness influencer has built a $50 million empire from exploding on social media in the Instagram boom era.
Zukowski, meanwhile, rose to fame as a contestant on reality dating TV show Love Island Australia, and now co-hosts the Where’s Your Head At Podcast.
The pair announced their engagement in December after just three months of dating.
Zukowski this week spoke of the brutality of having to cull guests who had already been invited.
“I invited a lot of my mates’ girlfriends that I know and (who) I’ve known for years,” he said on the podcast.
“And I had to send (my mates) a message saying, ‘Hey, I’ve had to lean up the list, I have to uninvite them. Sorry’.”
