Patreece Botheras, director of swimwear label Duskii, said it was important to not just cater for one type of woman.

“I want everybody to be able to wear the designs and feel good in them,” she said. “It has to be attainable and cater to every woman, whether she’s 16 or 60, size six or 16, and I think that message is reflective in the models we use as well.

“It’s about appealing to everyone, and we should as women support each other in feeling and looking great.”

The brand has recruited plus sized beauty Bree Warren and models of various ethnicities to parade its wares at the show to better reflect today’s Aussie beach body.
