IT’S a Thor point but there were no hard feelings as Elsa Pataky left Hollywood hunk hubby Chris Hemsworth at home in Byron Bay on daddy duty yesterday.
The Fast & Furious actor and a close group of girlfriends — including Matt Damon’s wife Lucy — flew to Sydney for the opening of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia.
“Being a mother changes you so much,” Pataky, in town as a guest of Vogue Australia, told The Daily Telegraph. “It is a crazy trip being a mum. It is the best experience ever.”
Pataky and Hemsworth have three young children — daughter, India, and twin sons Sasha and Tristan.
The couple have been married for almost eight years and the Spaniard said they never spend more than three weeks apart.
“It is usually two weeks but it can go to three, not a day over,” Pataky said. “You need to be connected so we have that point.”
Style-wise, Pataky describes herself as “more beachy than ever”. “I live in a place that is very beachy and good weather the whole year almost,” she said.
Having been busy as a mother over the past few years, Pataky is currently shooting her first Australian acting project, new Netflix TV series Tidelands.
“It came at the perfect time for me,” she said. “If it came to me two years ago I probably wouldn’t be able to do it. It is time for Chris to stay at home with the kids, which he is very happy to do.
