The wife of Hollywood star Matt Damon attended the opening show of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia yesterday with her mate Elsa Pataky.
Making a rare public comment, Damon said she had fallen in love with Australia and its people.
“I love the people in Australia,” Damon told The Daily Telegraph.
“Everyone I have met has been so warm and welcoming. It just makes it so easy to fall in love with this country.”

Despite her love for the country, she said that there was no plans to move the family to Australia ... at this stage.
“We love coming to visit the country but there are no plans to live here long term,” she said.
Matt and Lucy have four daughters together.
The Argentinian-born beauty also brought one her of daughters along to the show.
Pataky and Damon made a girls weekend of the show, getting a group of friends together to stay at the Ovolo in Woolloomooloo.
This is the second trip to Australia this year for the Damon clan. The Daily Telegraph understands they are already booked to return at the end of the year for another holiday.
While in Australia the Damons base themselves near good friends Pataky and husband Chris Hemsworth in Byron Bay.
The couples are often seen out shopping, dining at local restaurants and enjoying the beaches in the area.
