The opportunity to work alongside a shirtless Chris Hemsworth is one Tiffany Haddish couldn’t refuse.
The American comedian instantly signed up when the Australian Thor star mentioned he’d take his kit off in his upcoming flick, Down Under Cover.
“Chris Hemsworth called me and said he has this movie he would like for us to do,” she explained.
“He said it is me and you and we are probably going to be detectives dealing with a crime and there will be some male exotic dancing.”

Little is known about the project other than that the story will centre on police uncovering the perpetrators in a casino heist and the main suspects are a group of Australian strippers.
“I said, ‘who is dancing?’” Haddish continued, in Sydney to promote her new film, The Secret Life Of Pets 2, that opens in cinemas nationally on June 20.
“And he said, ‘I will’. And I said, ‘sign me up’. He said there will be other Australians dancing and I said, ‘perfect, bring in a Kangaroo with muscles too, lets do it’.”
Haddish is best known for her breakthrough role in Girls Trip alongside Regina Hall, Jada Pinkett Smith and Queen Latifah and will return to Australia in January to shoot Down Under Cover with Hemsworth.
