MAFS 2019 Episode 40 Recap: Reunion Rage

Married At First Sight star Cyrell Paule has not found love yet — but she’s “very happy” in a new relationship despite the rumours.

The MAFS star has told News Corp Australia she had found someone she was “in a very deep like” with, in Mr World Australia winner Love Island star Eden Dally.

“We’re taking it slow and so far I’m having a lot of fun with him,” she said.

“He makes me happy.”

Cyrell said they met and started dating after the show ended, and he had watched her on the hit reality show.

“He says I am pretty much the female version of him,” she said.

“Personality goes along way and I think he likes that strong independent woman in me, he likes a firecracker!”

Cyrell, 30, said that unlike other MAFS stars, she isn’t interested in making a post-reality TV fortune based on “photo shoots in a bikini” or her “arse hanging out”.

She is more interested in helping women become “independent and strong”, and less focused on competing with each other.

Cyrell, who has become a football ambassador for the Matilda’s upcoming FIFA Women’s World Cup campaign, said she was alarmed by recent reports of girls dropping out of sport.

“These days what do you see young females doing? They’re mainly focusing on their image, their looks, how to get the guys, and they’re forgetting about being strong independent women,” she said.

“It’s better to be competing in a sport than competing for a man’s attention, that’s what the world’s become.”

“I want women to stop focusing so much on image, they are beautiful naturally as they are.

“There are other ways to feel confident and independent.”

Since the MAFS experience, Cyrell said she only surrounds herself with people that “bring out the best in her”.

Cyrell will be encouraging football fans to support the Matildas today, when she appears in Sydney at Martin Place today, to help referee an under 10s football match.

Football fans will get the chance to sign messages of support on a Hyundai i30 N in permanent marker before it gets to the Matildas in France for the World Cup.

Football Federation Australia CEO David Gallop AM, believes these messages will spur the team on.

“It’s not easy to travel overseas and play at such a high level in unfamiliar territory, but our team will be well prepared for their Group C challenges against Italy, Brazil, and Jamaica,” he said.

“We’ve worked really hard with Hyundai to take the home crowd to France and to remind the Matildas every time they step out on the field that the whole of Australia is behind them, which is a truly inspirational feeling.”

Cyrell will be at Martin Place Wednesday from 12.45pm AEST.
