TV presenter Edwina Bartholomew is pregnant with her first child, telling family, friends and colleagues the exciting news during a live cross today.

The 35-year-old and partner Neil Varcoe reaches the three month mark this week, telling family, friends and colleagues the exciting news.

Sharing an image of the baby ultrasound to social media, the breakfast TV host wrote: “what I totally presented as an over consumption of croissants, has turned out to be something a little more permanent #babynews.”

“After three months of eating just cheese and dry crackers, it’s nice to finally be feeling great,” she told Confidential. “Neil is mildly terrified but we are over the moon and bracing ourselves for the next chapter.”

With the baby due in December, they are yet to decide whether or not to find out its gender although expect to “keep it a surprise”.

The couple were married just over a year ago on their 100 acre property, Warramba, in the Capertee Valley.

They met eight years ago working at radio station 2GB and their wedding was held exactly a year after Varco proposed on the property.

“From hail storms, bogong moth plagues, generators running out of diesel, kids left colouring-in in the dark, G-strings on the dance floor and camp fire sing-a-longs. It was epic,” Bartholomew said at the time.
