Binge’s FBoy Island finale winners revealed

SPOILER ALERT: It was an explosive finale for controversial BINGE reality dating show, FBoy Island. Here’s how things unfolded.

SPOILER ALERT

Two out of three isn’t bad for a reality TV success rate.

FBoy Island has come to an explosive end with Australia’s most controversial new show seeing two of the three females leaving the show with a partner.

Molly O’Halloran remains loved-up with Nick Brown while Cupid struck Ziara Rae Freeny and Izaya Leota. Both women chose ‘nice guys’ in the series finale, meaning both couples scored $50,000 prize money.

Sophie Blackley meanwhile chose ‘FBoy’ Joshy Allen but in a twist of fate, he reformed his player ways and opted to share the $50,000 winnings instead of doing a runner.

Hosted by Abbie Chatfield, FBoy Island is the new BINGE hit that saw 24 men vying for the hearts of the three women. The twist was that half the men were players and the other half genuinely in it for love.

While Molly and Ziara are still with their fellas, Sophie and Joshy decided to go their separate ways after the finale.

Molly, an occupational therapist, is based in Melbourne, while Nick lives in Sydney. They have had to keep their relationship secret since filming ended a few months back.

“We are doing long distance for now,” she said. “We see each other every other weekend and pretty much just chat every day. But if there’s any jobs going in Sydney? Emotions are a lot stronger now, it took me a while even after the show to be a little more vulnerable with Nick so it has been different watching it back.”

Sophie Blackley chose ‘FBoy’ Joshy Allen. But the former player reformed his ways and chose to split the money with Blackley.

The pair are planning holidays to Bali and Fiji later in the year and are talking about living together, most likely in Sydney.

Marriage though is a long way off with both saying they want to enjoy their relationship before taking that step.

Molly, 27, signed up for the show months after finding her ex fiancé cheating on her.

“I am not here for just a fling or a two second relationship, I am an all or nothing type of girl,” she said. “So definitely I wouldn’t enter into a relationship if I didn’t think that was the end goal but we are not wanting to rush things and put pressure on the relationship. We are wanting to have fun and get to know each other better.”

To that, Nick, 25, said: “Marriage is not really in my mindset at the moment but we are definitely planning things together. We are planning things together but we haven’t talked about that (marriage).”

For Melbourne-based model Ziara, it was almost love at first sight with Izaya, who lives on the Gold Coast.

“We are going to go on a big holiday to Bali for a month, spend that time with each other and just celebrate our big win,” Izaya said, Ziara adding of settling down: “We will see what happens, we are both really young so it is kind of hard as we are both still at home. We are hoping a month away in the sun will give us some answers. We definitely need to be in the same state, it is just the way we go about it that we are figuring out.”

SPARKS TO FLY IN FBOY ISLAND FINALE

Sparks will fly in the final episodes of controversial new reality dating show FBoy Island.

The gripping BINGE series will come to an end with a clanger by way of self confessed player Vernon Lyon being called out by his ex-girlfriend, who says she is embarrassed for him after his behaviour on the show.

Brogen Cheek claims she and Lyon, whose real name is Brody, broke up just a fortnight before filming began when they had been dating for about nine months.

“I feel really embarrassed for him watching the show,” Cheek told Confidential. “He is childish; he is immature, what he is saying on his dates and then in his private interviews is just a joke. I don’t trust him and how immature he is. It just gives me the ick. I am glad he is out of my life.”

Lyon is one of two suitors going into the final episodes of FBoy Island, vying for the affections of occupational therapist Molly O’Halloran against fellow competitor, nice guy Nick Brown.

Similarly, the finale will be released on BINGE overnight and will see two guys each in the final round with O’Halloran’s ‘girl squad trio’ Ziara Rae Freeny and Sophie Blackley.

Corey Brown and Izaya Leota are the two final contenders for Rae while Justin Leo and Joshy Allen are Blackley’s final choices.

The series started with 24 blokes trying for love with the three women. Half of the men were ‘players’ and the other half genuinely in it for love, and the $50,000 cash prize.

Earlier in the season, while being intimate with O’Halloran, Lyon revealed his status as an Fboy but later said he was “reformed”.

Lyon, 25, claimed he and Cheek broke up a month before filming.

“She kept trying to get back with us and I met up with her a couple of times,” he explained. “Every weekend there was another night, another argument.”

Cheek provided a different version of events, claiming they slept together for the last time on February 1 and that same day he broke up with her.

“He told me that once he won, he would be coming for me straight away and if I was still there, he would be mine forever,” Cheek explained. “It is just embarrassing for him I think. He said he was going for Molly because he felt like she was the easiest girl to go to because no guys really wanted her.”

Lyon meanwhile said he went on the show “as a game”.

“I am not still an FBoy, not anymore,” the diesel fitter said. “Hopefully people don’t look at me in a bad light because of the whole ex thing and because of me coming on as an FBoy. I went on the show for the experience. I would love to get other TV shows now, that would be wicked.”
