Jimmy Nicholson made a cameo at fiancee Holly Kingston’s pre-wedding hens party.
Unbeknown to the pilot, Kingston’s friends printed a life-size cardboard cutout of the 33-year-old for the girls day out on Saturday.
Confidential has been given a full run-down of what happened at the hen’s and the bucks of the loved up Bachelor reality television couple.
“I probably should have asked more questions,” Nicholson told Confidential.
“Holly’s maid of honour had to awkwardly come over to our place in the lead up to the hens to take a photo of me she said was being used on the day. I just thought it would be on the invite or something.”
As it turned out, Kingston’s High School bestie, Samantha Beattie had the image of Nicholson — naked with a pilot’s hat covering his modesty — printed life-size. Cardboard Jimmy accompanied the crew through their festivities.
Kingston’s hens party was held at Tequila Mockingbird in Paddington, with the funeral theme: “the death of Holly’s single life”.
Confidential can reveal the girls lunch saw 16 guests take part, among them Kingston’s bridesmaids, who include TV host Francesca Hung and her competition on The Bachelor, lawyer Carlie Hodges.
Kingston wore a two-piece by bridal designer Anna Campbell, Billini shoes, Lu Goldie sunnies and a Dylan Kain bag. After lunch they kicked on at a friends house.
Nicholson meanwhile had 16 of his closest mates come together for a bucks at the same time.
The group of blokes took part in HyperKarting at Moore Park, as well as VR gaming with Nicholson dressed by his friends as Super Mario.
After the games, the boys went to Bondi for drinks at Corner House and later, both groups came together at the couple’s apartment at North Bondi to party into the night.
Cardboard Jimmy, however, didn’t make it back, and has been MIA since the weekend.
Nicholson’s groomsmen including fellow pilot Brenton Nixon, nicknamed Grubbs, who wasn't able to make the bucks due to starting a new job in the US. Also on his side come wedding day are best mates Richard Walsh, a former professional UFC fighter, and Patrick Brassil, who works in construction management.
A wedding date is set for August. It will be the sixth wedding in The Bachelor and Bachelorette Australia franchise.
