Sam Burgess and Luke Burgess join forces in 4B Label fashion

They are known for their moves on the playing field but now the Burgess brothers can reveal their new career move.

The Burgess boys are keeping it in the family.

With their 4B Label men’s fashion business turning one this month, Confidential caught up with two of the Burgess brothers, Sam and Luke.

“We loved working together playing football (rugby league) and we’ve always talked about doing business together post football,” said Luke.

“We’ve always taken a bit of an interest in fashion and we’ve all got our own different looks so we thought it would be a great way to keep that connection and be able to have a business that we can build together and enjoy working on for many years to come.”

Sam, Luke, Thomas and George came up with the idea at a family catch up in 2016.

Thomas remains playing for the Rabbitohs while twin brother George has just returned to Australia from the UK after signing with St George Illawarra Dragons.

Sam, who will soon be seen on Seven reality show SAS Australia, and Luke are retired from the game.

“We have always struggled to find stuff that fits us the way we like it to fit,” said Luke, who works full time on the brand.

“With all of us having quite large legs, it is quite hard to find decent shorts that fit well so we based it around that. Having said that, our stuff fits the smaller guys too.”

The brand comes with a personal touch by way of a tribute to the boys late father, Mark, who died of motor neurone disease at the age of 46.

Using their father’s name, the hoodie has a slogan on the sleeve that reads: “Leave your mark. Positivity is at the heart of 4B. We love to inspire people through our family values. Leading from the front and never taking a backwards step. Make it yours.”
