Just two years after this column revealed top trader Baydon Fischer had split with his long- time wife, Megan, and entered a relationship with a young beauty who he was showering with gifts, Fischer has celebrated his 50th birthday, alongside that beauty.
And no expense was spared.
Fischer, who is the Asia Pacific head of trading with the Dutch derivatives company Optiver, celebrated the milestone at the weekend with Louisa Robins by his side.
Judging from the hundreds of images shared online, it looks like their relationship is going strong, with the loved-up couple partying up a storm.
The 50th, which was held at celeb haunt Bondi Icebergs and rumoured to have cost Fischer$85,000, was attended by guests many once close to the pair claim are “new friends”.
Among those who attended were popular Sydney designer Lillian Khalouf, newly single eastern suburbs engineer Deniz Bekir, muso turned buyers agent Damian Steele and Eleni Taylor, the ex-wife of construction magnate Mark Taylor.
Baydon, who recently purchased a penthouse in Bondi Pacific to live in with his new squeeze, was seen DJing with no shirt on, before cutting a giant sun themed gold cake, which prompted a costume change into a Pocahontas-meets-Poison Ivy two-piece set from his girlfriend.
He was dressed for the occasion in a custom white ensemble which included a white shirt with his nickname “Bid” emblazoned on the back and gold sneakers.
Sneaky Sound System performed while the group reportedly partied well into the night.
While Place of Lb styled the event.
As for Baydon’s ex-wife, Megan, we hear she has become super close to Amber Keating, who split from her husband John Symond around the same time.
