A mother’s love was on full display as Oscar winning actor Natalie Portman was spotted kissing and playing with her young daughter in Byron Bay.
Although she managed to dodge the airport fanfare most celebrities are met with as they land Down Under, a relaxed Portman was snapped bush walking at Minyon Falls with her husband, French dancer and choreographer Benjamin Millepied, their son Aleph, 7, and daughter Amalia, 1.

It was an intimate but rare insight into the Israeli-born film star’s private life who usually chooses to shield her children from the public eye.
Perhaps best known for her critically acclaimed performance in Black Swan — where she met Millepied — Portman has also starred in major Hollywood blockbusters including Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of the Sith, No Strings Attached and Thor: The Dark World.
Her fellow Thor co-star Chris Hemsworth has already introduced Hollywood heavyweight Matt Damon to the beauty of his home town in northern New South Wales, The Daily Telegraph can only wonder whether Portman is the next movie star in line for a personal tour.
Hemsworth has moved his whole family from Los Angeles to live permanently in Byron Bay where he is building a mansion estimated to be worth $9 million.
Earlier this year there were rumours his close friend and actor Matt Damon and his family would leave Hollywood bound for the region as the two families were often spotted holidaying together in the beach suburb. Despite their love for Australia, there were no immediate plans for them to move.
Actress Naomi Watts also spent her New Years in Byron with the family in 2018.
