MAKE-UP heiress Lianna Perdis may have a glitzy social media profile but she insists that she is a regular teen who still has to do chores around the house.

As her family’s Napoleon Perdis cosmetics brand expands with a new partnership with Priceline, the daughter of flamboyant businessman Napoleon Perdis plans to move back to Sydney next year. Her parents and three sisters now live in Athens.

She balances a life split between being a normal teenager and part of an international cosmetics brand.

Napoleon Perdis labelled ‘incredibly responsible’ after ad

“When we go out we dress up, attend great events, meet celebrities, but to be honest that’s work. It’s part of being a member of the Perdis family and promoting Napoleon Perdis,” Lianna, 18, said.

“My dad is flamboyant and out there, but at home he has very strong traditional beliefs and rules about family.

“We all share in the chores, we catch buses to school, we have homework. we’re on the phone all the time texting or on social media (which drives Napoleon nuts), but that’s what all teenage girls do.”

She said social media plays a role in business, but warned young women not to believe everything they see online.

“ I show some beautiful photos (on social media) of things which I like, but I do not share what is happening in my personal life,” she said.

“Social media pressures people into thinking they only reveal their perfect lives in square pictures, but the people who poke fun at all that are actually the funniest.”

The young Perdis has taken a strong interest in the family business. As the face of Napoleon Perdis she was front and centre at the launch of the company’s partnership with Priceline.

“We are very excited about this new move. Priceline is an amazing retailer, a one-stop shop, and we are proud to now be part of that,” she said.

“I will be travelling around the country to the stores and being totally hands-on with everything.

“Now that I’ve finished high school I’m able to immerse myself more and more in the business, from product development, marketing and communications to retail.

“My family has built a great business and it would be an honour to keep that going.

“My parents have always said they’ll be happy as long as we try our hardest at whatever we choose to do.”
