She has been accepted into Macquarie University through the Global Leadership Entry Program, where she will be studying a Bachelor of Media. Her parents, Napoleon and Soula-Marie Perdis, are Macquarie University alumni.

“Graduating high school was a really rewarding experience. Between Australia, LA and Athens I changed schools four times, eventually graduating from the Pierce American College with an IB diploma,” Perdis said.

“Going to school on three different continents, though difficult, has made my life richer, helped me with adapting and making friends and appreciating people for who they are on a deeper level than the superficial of what they have or don’t have but connecting as souls. These are lessons I hope to keep forever.”

Despite already being a successful businesswoman with her own capsule collections at Napoleon Perdis, Perdis still struggles with teen issues.

“I was really grateful I was able to be in an environment (in Greece) where any insecurities could be put to one side and I could really focus on my studies and graduate with a great mark. My high school studies were always my priority, which I feel is a necessary basic for everyone these days,” she said.

“High school is complex but it allowed me to understand myself better in these crucial early years of life and become the person I am today.”

While Perdis has spent the past 10 years overseas, she still considers Australia home.

“Coming back to Australia for uni studies is very exciting. My parents over the years have always wanted to make sure that my sisters and I understand the Australian customs, traditions, national days, and holidays.”
