On-camera talent runs in the family at the Ennis household, with former NRL star and Fox League commentator Michael Ennis gearing up for his daughter Kobyfox’s Nickelodeon debut.
The 11-year-old dancer is twirling in her father’s footsteps as she prepares to star on season two of READY SET DANCE and she told Confidential that his advice has helped her camera presence.
“Sometimes I get butterflies in my stomach because I’m worried that something is going to mess up but I’ve learned from dad that it’s ok to mess up and that you learn from those mistakes,” she said.
Former Cronulla premiership winner Ennis said the advice he gives his daughter is simple.

“The biggest thing that I’ve sort of learned after doing it for the last four years now at Fox Sports, the best advice I can give her is to just be yourself,” he said.
“Be authentic, have fun. I don’t think anyone can ever question you when you’re being yourself. She’s a really vibrant young girl, and loves to have fun and I tell her to show that, be confident and just be yourself.”
KobyFox began dancing at age two and specialises in contemporary, lyrical, ballet and hiphop.
Nickelodeon’s new season of READY SET DANCE is a participatory dance show designed to get preschoolers moving at home and it premieres on May 11 at 8.30am on Foxtel’s Nick Jr. (channel 703).
