“I had my first Laparoscopy on Friday to confirm if I had Endometriosis (a disorder in which tissue that normally lines the uterus grows outside the uterus).

“The endo was discovered growing on the left tube but thankfully I only had a very small amount … Although I’m in lots of pain still I can’t help but still feel gratitude to now have answers, to have an amazing doctor and great nurses at Cabrini and that there was only a small amount of endo which has now been removed.”

She posted a series of emotional and intimate posts about her condition.

She said the post was a reminder for people to listen to their bodies.

“As you guys know, I get extremely bloated and can have massive mood swings and fatigue.

“I have had countless blood tests, seen naturopaths, hormone specialist, doctors and was always given the same answer; ‘you have a sensitive body and need to stress less’.”

Damir revealed that the pain and symptoms had “heightened to a whole new level” at the start of 2020 and while she is still in pain feels “gratitude” for having answers.
