THE feud between American stand-up comedian Kathy Griffin and Sunrise host Samantha Armytage continues, with the controversial female comic launching another attack at Armytage during her show in Sydney on Saturday.
Tensions began between the women when Griffin appeared on Sunrise and Armytage questioned her decision to post a photo in which she was holding a fake severed head of US President Donald Trump .
The photo led to Griffin being fired from a regular gig on CNN, losing sponsorship deals and having to cancel many shows in the US.
Armytage was predicted to be a target during the funny woman’s show at the Sydney Opera House, but Griffin took the low blows to another level. Among the insults thrown in Armytage’s direction was the suggestion that the brekkie TV host was in a sexual relationship with tennis legend Margaret Court or Pauline Hanson, who the comedian labelled homophobic and Islamophobic, respectively.
Griffin, who lives in a Bel Air mansion, also spoke about her neighbours Kim Kardashian and Kanye West as well as Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull during the show which was plagued by technical issues.
The comedian was forced to stop the show for around 10 minutes while a sound issue which was rectified.

The sold-out show came after Griffin also spoke about Armytage on the Kyle and Jackie O radio show.
“I kind of put her on the map,” Griffin told the hosts.
“She has been doing interviews where she said that she thinks I’m unwell. She feels that my answer, when I told her she was full of crap, made me quote ‘unwell’ which makes me feel bad, because I heard she has scurvy.”
When recently appearing on Mark Latham’s Outsiders earlier this month, Armytage took a jab at Griffin’s attitude during her appearance on Sunrise.
“I just thought she was a little bit unwell,” Armytage said. “I wasn’t applying politics that day I just thought she was a little bit unwell — kooky is one word for it.”
Yesterday Armytage was flying back east from Perth where she hosted The Channel Seven Perth Telethon raising funds for sick kids.
