SUNRISE host Samantha Armytage is single. The TV presenter told Confidential that there is nothing official to report on her dating life ... at this stage.
“I am having fun at the moment but that is it, I will keep you all posted,” she said.
The breakfast host had audiences speculating she may have found a man after an on- air comment that she “may be dating”. Yesterday she played down the comment, suggesting it was a bit of fun.
When quizzed about her romantic skills, Armytage said she had no game when it came to men.
“I have learnt absolutely nothing about relationships over the years,” she laughed. “I am still as hopeless at it as I was when I was 21.”
After flings with US star Eric Stonestreet and businessman Peter De Angelis, Armytage’s most recent coupling was with fellow Channel 7 presenter Michael Usher.
The loveable presenter told Confidential the pair are now just friends.
Yesterday Armytage got flustered during a segment on Sunrise featuring a Queensland police officer.

Constable Mason Jagowent viral when he snapped a selfie on a missing phone before returning it to the owner, who happened to be an ABC reporter. Armytage was playful with the shy officer during the live interview.
“Can we just have a moment to look at Mason’s arms please?” she said.
The constable did the briefest of flexes before saying: “There’s not much to look at.” “I’ll be the judge of that, Mason,” Armytage said giggling.
Armytage did admit to Confidential yesterday there was a man in her life — her labrador retriever Banjo.
“He is a sweet and reliable man,” she said.
This month marks four years since Armytage took the reigns as co-host of the Channel 7 breakfast show alongside David Koch, which she says is her “dream job”.
