Kate Ritchie star-struck by Wiggles: ‘This just happened!’

Kate Ritchie has confessed she was more excited to meet The Wiggles than her nearly two-year-old daughter Mae would be.

The Nova host describes meeting The Wiggles as a “cool mummy moment”.

It’s official, Kate Ritchie is obsessed with children’s entertainers!

The former Home and Away star, turned Nova radio host, 37, has confessed she was more excited to meet The Wiggles than her nearly two-year-old daughter Mae ever would be.

Taking to Instagram, the children’s book author posted a star struck image with the group, including one with yellow Wiggle Emma Watkins confessing the experience was a “mummy moment”.

“Can’t tell you how nice it is that my daughter thinks it’s only the lady in the yellow shirt and oversized bow that’s from the tele.. Here I am having an emotional/cool mummy moment in the @katetimmarty studio today..” Kate posted alongside the smiling selfie.

Admitting she couldn’t wait to go home and tell little Mae about the exciting encounter, she told fans, “Yep! This just happened! Like I don’t get enough of them at home!”

Just recently the beautiful mum filmed a one off special for long running children’s TV series, Play School.

The ABC documentary titled Big Ted’s Excellent Adventure: 50 Years Of Play School, will mark the five decade milestone in July.
