FORMER Home and Away actor turned radio host Kate Ritchie has filmed a one off special for long running children’s TV series, Play School.
The young mum will present ABC documentary, Big Ted’s Excellent Adventure: 50 Years Of Play School, to mark the five decade milestone in July.
And she shared a happy snap on set this week with the caption: “Thank goodness for Big Ted spending a quiet moment with me today #starstruck #perfectman.”
It is a nice fit for Ritchie, 37, mum to daughter Mae, who will celebrate her second birthday in August.
And she’s also recently released a children’s book titled I Just Couldn’t Wait To Meet You.
The Play School doco promises to “take a nostalgic journey through Aussie childhood, reliving the laughter and delights of half a century of Play School while charting 50 years of the nation’s social history”.
Other celebrities to appear in the special include original members of the Wiggles, Benita Collings, John Waters, Craig McLachlan and Justine Clarke.
