MALE supermodel Jordan Barrett has ditched the biggest modelling agency in the world for Sydney’s Kult agency.
Confidential understands his contract with IMG ended at the start of 2018, leaving him open to defect.
Barrett had formerly had a relationship with several of Kult’s agents and has decided to join their team.
It is unknown if he will be back in Australia for fashion week next month.

Insiders in the industry said it’s is a huge coup for the Sydney agency Kult but a huge blow to IMG.
“They apparently tried hard to keep him but he would not be swayed,” a source said.
Barrett was discovered on the Gold Coast as a teenager.
In March, Kirk Blake, who discovered the 13-year-old Barrett in a grocery store, said the model did not deserve the attention he had garnered in recent years.
“Why are we celebrating someone who gives the media the finger?” Blake said at the time.
“In one case where he was interviewed at GQ — I asked why he was even there — the kid was interviewed on live TV and he swore. I went ‘yuck’.
“He needs to rein it in. I just know that he can be so much better. He is unstoppable at the moment but I still think he has to make the correct decisions.”
