Sasha Mielczarek left “heartbroken” after splitting up with Bachelorette Sam Frost

BACHELORETTE Sam Frost remains unlucky in love.

After months of speculation, the reality star and the man she “fell in love with’’ on the show, Sasha Mielczarek, have finally confirmed their breakup.

A statement from Frost and Mielczarek’s management said yesterday: “After 18 months together Sam Frost and Sasha Mielczarek have come to a mutual decision to end their relationship. It is important to stress that there is no bitterness or scandal, they’ve come to the realisation that the best way forward is to separate.’’

Within an hour of the statement’s release Mielczarek took to Instagram to confirm the split, borrowing a line from his manager.

“I respect Sam wholeheartedly and cherish our new-found friendship. This is a very difficult time for the two of us and, to be honest, I’m absolutely heartbroken,” he declared.

At the weekend Frost used her Instagram to share an image of a sunset, with the caption: “Christmas isn’t always sunshine and rainbows for everyone.”
