Despite being together for a year and a half, former Bachelorette star Sam Frost and her construction manager beau Sasha Mielczarek still haven’t taken their relationship to the next level.

Frost, 27, who got a gig alongside Rove McManus on 2 Day FM after her stint as The Bachelorette, admits the three-hour distance between them is making life tricky.

“Like all relationships, we have our ups and downs,” Frost revealed to WHO Magazine, adding there’s also pressure being in the public eye.

“Trying to juggle that while doing long-distance can be quite challenging,” she told the publication.

And even through they’d love to live with each other at some stage, right now the couple are focusing on their careers, with Mielczarek, 31, recently scoring another contract in the NSW town of Huskisson.

“We are a united team. We hold each other’s hands. We brace the storm.”

It’s one of many storms the brunette beauty has had to face this year, revealing that at one point online bullies had left her broken.

In July Frost took to Twitter saying, “To the fake accounts heavily trolling me online & into my personal life. If you wanted to break me. Congratulations you have won. #broken.”

Then, in October she ditched her social media presence following an intense post slagging off New Idea for suggesting she and Mielczarek had split up.

Reflecting on her year, Frost told WHO Magazine seeing a psychologist weekly helps her keep things in perspective.

“I still have my moments, but the majority of the time is more positive than negative which means I’m on the right track.

She’s in a happy place today though after seeing her younger brother graduate from school — and posted an Instagram shot to say how proud she was.
