SASHA Mielczarek has broken his silence over breaking up with Sam Frost after they first found love on Channel 10’s The Bachelorette.
Frost and Mielczarek confirmed their romance is over to News Corp Australia today.
The 2Day FM breakfast co-host and her former tradie boyfriend are believed to have ended their relationship before Christmas, sharing the sad news with family and friends before issuing the following statement today through their IMG manager Georgina Harrop, exclusively to News Corp Australia.

“After 18 months together, Sam Frost and Sasha Mielczarek have come to a mutual decision to end their relationship.
It is important to stress that there is no bitterness or scandal, they have just come to the realisation that the best way forward is to separate.”
Ms Harrop continued: “they wholeheartedly respect and cherish the friendship they have for one another which will continue moving forward.
“They wish to thank everyone for their love and support over the past 18 months.”
Mielczarek posted the news to his Instagram account, stating: “After 18 months together, I can confirm that Sam and myself have come to a mutual decision to part ways.”
He said it was a “difficult time” for them, and he was “absolutely heartbroken”.
“I respect Sam wholeheartedly and cherish our new found friendship. It is important to stress that there is no bitterness or scandal however the distance has been challenging at times. This is a very difficult time for the two of us and to be honest I’m absolutely heartbroken!,” he stated.
“Sammy, I think you are absolutely amazing, beautiful in every way and I wish you all the best in the future. I will be listening to your fantastic radio show and look forward to you killing the ratings in 2017.
“I want to thank everyone for their love and support over the past 18 months, you have all been amazing! Now get back to your holidays and enjoy time with family and friends! #chinup #timehealsallwounds”
The pair met last year on the first season of Ten’s The Bachelorette in Australia, but lived apart as both continued to pursue their professional ambitions.
Frost was teamed with Rove McManus on 2DayFM’s breakfast show in Sydney, while Mielczarek was recently promoted to a project management role in Huskisson, near Bowral, with construction giant, Lend Lease.
Paparazzi images of Mielczarek with another “mystery” woman on the Gold Coast over the weekend fuelled split rumours; where his family are holidaying together after the recent death of his beloved maternal grandmother.
It is understood distance, rather than infidelity, played a role in their relationship breakdown, with Frost also speaking openly about her struggle with the intensive public interest after the credits rolled on the TV show.
She is expected to return to air with McManus in mid-January.
