SASHA has a message for the man who broke Sam’s heart during today’s live Q&A chat. See what the Bachelorette couple revealed.

“CHEERS MATE!” That’s the short but emphatic message from Sasha Mielczarek to the man who let Sam Frost slip through his fingers, Blake Garvey.

Sasha, who won Sam’s heart in last night’s season finale of The Bachelorette, shared the missive with Blake today during a live question-and-answer session with fans.

Sasha: ‘I was really confused by the situation’

From the moment he stepped foot into The Bachelorette mansion, Sasha Mielczarek was the odds on favourite to win Sam Frost’s final rose.

And while the happy couple did indeed declare their love for each other in the season finale, there was a time Mielczarek came close to quitting the televised love search.

“I was really confused by the situation, halfway through (filming the show) I had a bit of a meltdown,” confessed the 30-year-old construction worker.

“They didn’t show it on TV but I said, ‘Hey, I need some help here, I don’t know what to do.”

But while Frost, 26, had managed to talk other contenders through their doubts during the series, she froze when Mielczarek asked for advice.

“I was like, ‘Oh God, he’s going to leave’ and I was terrified,” she said. “I was so upset I couldn’t even console him, I couldn’t help him and guide him through it.”

The duo have managed to catch up most weekends in secret which has seen their relationship continue to strengthen. But until now, only a small selection of people outside of the production crew have been privy to how the show ended.

Mielczarek confided in his parents and a close friend while Frost let her sister Kristine and brothers Steve and Alex know that they’d found love.

Despite the secrecy though, Frost said one family member came very close to revealing the top secret ending.

“I thought my niece (two-year-old Bridie) was going to be the spoiler,” she laughed.
“She’ll see my face at the supermarket on magazines and point and say, ‘Aunty Sam and Sasha!’ She FaceTimes Sasha all the time, she loves him.”

Meanwhile, Mielczarek said he faced a different problem when it came to magazine headlines, especially the one which declared he and Frost were expecting a baby together.

“My Nan rang me up and said, ‘Oh my God Sasha, I am so excited I’m going to be a great grandmother!’ And I was like, ‘Nan, it’s not true.’ She was heartbroken.”

As for whether babies are now on the horizon, Frost said there’s no timeline, but if it were up to Mielczarek she’d be “knocked up tomorrow.”

“We’re just taking normal steps in our relationship,” Mielczarek added. “We’ll do the natural progression, we’ll hang out now, then we’ll move in, then when it comes to it we might even get engaged and see what happens.”

The Bachelorette has been a resounding success for Channel 10, having dominated the ratings each Wednesday and Thursday night.

A second series was officially given a green light by the network today. The Bachelor will also return in 2016.
