Funnyman Joel Creasey had them rolling in the aisles as he presented the International Man of Style Award to model Lucky Blue Smith at the GQ Man of The Year awards in Sydney on Wednesday night.

GQ Red carpet questions. How awkward did it get?

Comedian Joel Creasey has taken a public dig at the reality show that helped launch his television career.

While on stage presenting the International Man of Style Award to Lucky Blue Smith at the GQ Man of The Year awards, Creasey took a stab at the calibre of people who’ve signed on to do the show, including cricketer Shane Warne and had the audience in stitches.

“My whole career all I’ve wanted is to be famous, so hard core in fact that I was a contestant on the first season of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here,” Creasey began, before adding “that show where they find 12 celebrities who just happen to have six weeks available, so really high calibre people, and I was like “I can go for a year, I’m available, how long do you need me for, I’m free as a bird, me and Warnie.”

The 28-year-old funnyman also revealed his dream came true when he was the subject of a quiz question on The Chase — but it “didn’t really work in my favour” when he later found the footage.

“All I’ve ever wanted in life is to be a question on a quiz show,” she said.

Creasey said the question asked a contestant to name the person who hosted Eurovision 2017 alongside radio legend Myf Warhurst, but neither the contestant, her team or The Governess knew the answer was Creasey.

“Andrew goes ‘the answer is Joel Creasey’ and the lady goes ‘oh I’d never had gotten that’”.

The stand-up comedian then revelled he then found the lady on twitter and sent her a tweet.

“Not an aggressive tweet; more like a hey babe,” he told the audience.

“I sent her a tweet and I said ‘I’m Joel Creasey, I’m the answer to that question you got wrong.

“It was like she was waiting for me, she responded within 30 seconds.

She goes “hi, you lost me $32,000 and then she blocked me.

Creasey’s latest project has seen him on air on Channel 7 as the

host of dating show Take Me Out.
