It was a rare public appearance for Craig and Leoni, who are understood to live near Chris and wife Elsa Pataky in Byron Bay.
Their extended family are extremely close, with several members of the clan — including Pataky’s brother — living on their sprawling northern NSW property.
Hemsworth splits his time between Australia and the US for work.
Rumours are he plans to bring more film work Down Under, with new facilities in his $9 million home and his own production company Thematic Entertainment.
