A SELF-IMPOSED no d*** head policy keeps Australia’s top Hollywood star in check.
Chris Hemsworth says he will never let fame go to his head, no matter how successful he is.
“My goal has been not to become a d … head,” he told The Daily Telegraph last night.
“I promise I won’t become a d … head — that’s what I have to say to my parents.”
Hemsworth has become an unqualified superstar thanks to commanding performances in roles such as Thor in the Marvel Avengers films.
But the 34-year-old father-of three chooses to live a grounded life in Australia with his family, travelling the world only when necessary for work.

“I think you’re either a d … head or you’re not a d … head, fame just amplifies that,” he said.
Hemsworth last night stepped out at Sydney’s Museum of Contemporary Art for an event for Tag Heuer, which he is an ambassador for, and to raise money for The Australian Childhood Foundation.
He has long championed the work of the foundation, which raises awareness and funds for children who have suffered abuse.
“It is a charity my Dad has worked with for many years and my Mum has worked with as well,” Hemsworth said.
“It is something that really speaks to me and speaks to me strongly.”
