The Oscar-winning Aussie actor and her 16-year-old son Ignatius were seated front row at Giorgio Armani’s Paris Fashion Week show.

High profile stars of the fashion world and beyond turned on their best looks for the

Giorgio Armani Privé Haute Couture show during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday, with Aussie Cate Blanchett sitting in the coveted front row.

The 55-year-old actor was accompanied by her 16-year-old son Ignatius in a rare public outing together.

In a TikTok shared by French outlet Gala, Blanchett and Ignatius were seen sitting front row as fellow guests came up to greet them.

For their outing at Paris Fashion Week, Blanchett and Ignatius wore contrasting black and cream Armani suits.

For her part, Blanchett spiced up the pantsuit with a strapless asymmetrical bodice that featured a plunging V neckline, almost reaching her waist.

The actor’s one-piece, which she topped off with pointed-toe stilettos, then continued into slim-fitting trousers.

The sleek ensemble had glittering embellishments across the fabric at her waist, in a quasi-skirt structure, that tied at the front of Blanchett’s jumpsuit with a blue clasp.

The Oscar winner accentuated the sharp look with a slicked-back bob hairstyle, square black sunglasses, soft makeup, and a statement cocktail ring.

Meanwhile, Ignatius wore a crisp three-piece suit in a cream shade.

The Tar and Carol star shares three sons — Dashiell, 22, Roman, 20, and Ignatius, 16 — and a daughter Edith, 9, with husband Andrew Upton.

The couple married in 1997 and last week ditched development plans for their $9.5m Cornwall holiday home, following local outrage.

They had demolished a former cottage in the seaside town in 2020 to make way for the five-bedroom eco-home.

The Giorgio Armani Privé couture show proved to be a mini-reunion for the Black Bag cast with Blanchett and her co-stairs Naomie Harris and Marisa Abela sitting front row.

The upcoming American Spy thriller for Focus Feature is directed by Steven Soderbergh, known for the likes of Erin Brockovich, Logan Lucky, Magic Mike, and the iconic Ocean’s Trilogy.

The movie will see Michael Fassbender as the leading star alongside Blanchett, and they are joined Bridgerton favourite Regé-Jean Page and Skyfall’s Naomie Harris.
