British singer Rita Ora set to perform at 2018 ARIA Awards

RITA Ora will join a luminary list of international artists who have lit up Australian music’s night of nights when she hits the stage later this month.

BRITISH pop star Rita Ora will turn up the international heat at the upcoming ARIA Awards.

The chart-topping singer will perform at Australian music’s biggest night at the Star Event Centre on November 28.

“I’m so excited to come to Australia. It is amazing to give my first ever performance at the ARIAs and means I get to spend the release week of my album in OZ.

“Thanks so much for having me, ARIAs.

Rita Ora will return to Australia in March for a full national tour.

Superstar singer Keith Urban will host the night that recognises our best talent across all music genres with Amy Shark leading the nominations up for nine gongs.

Courtney Barnett, 5 Seconds of Summer, Dean Lewis and Kasey Chambers are all up for nods as well.

International artists to have performed at the ARIA’s include Harry Styles, Alicia Keys, Pink and Lorde.

“We are thrilled to be able to welcome Rita Ora to this year’s ARIA Awards as special guest performer,” ARIA chief exec Dan Rosen said.

“She is an extremely talented artist and performer and one of the most exciting acts in the world right now.”

Ora, 27, also an actor who has appeared in Fast and Furious 6 and the Fifty Shades films, is known for global hits RIP, Your Song, Anywhere and I Will Never Let You Down.

Her new single Let You Love Me is out now, with her much-anticipated second album, Phoenix, released this month.

“You’ve just got to go with the flow,” Ora told the Telegraph of her album last year.

“If people like it, they like it.”

Ora will return to Australia in March for a full national tour, playing Sydney’s Big Top at Luna Park on the second of that month.
