ANY rivalry between The Voice Australia coaches is “water off a duckie’s back” for Boy George.

With the reality singing show set to launch live episodes on Sunday night, the Culture Club frontman has come to blows with rival coach Seal countless times throughout the audition process

“Unless you insult my mother or something, there is not much you could say to me that would really bother me,” Boy George told Confidential as part of the new Robed-Up with J. Mo Facebook Live series.

“I’ve grown up very much living my life very visibly, I’ve never really hidden who I am. I’ve never really been a wallflower. I get over things really easily.

“I’ve got this thing I call a thunder nature where I just explode and then it is over and I put the kettle on.”

Boy George and Seal are joined on the panel by Kelly Rowland and Delta Goodrem.

The Brit proudly declared he could “feud like nobody else”, having famously had public fallings-out with the likes of Liam Payne, George Michael and Morrissey.

Quizzed further on Seal, he added: “It is bantermime, it is fun. It is wrestling, no one is going to get hurt.

“He did call me a loser, which is fine. He did this thing about my hat, saying he didn’t like over-size hats so I have been looking for a bigger hat.

“I get over things really quickly and I feel like in this business, you have to be like that.”

In a wide-ranging interview, Boy George covered everything from his reputation for being a diva to sleeping naked.

“Let’s face it, I’ve got a bit of a reputation,” he said. “And so it kind of works in my favour because I am not that person and I never was that person so it is always fun to meet people and surprise them.

“People think I am going to be difficult or I am going to be bitchy or I am going to be stroppy, I don’t know, all sorts of isms. Maybe I have been those things in my life but nowadays I am pretty chilled out.”

Musically, Boy George has just released a dance cover of Eurythmics 80s classic Sweet Dreams with his Voice UK contestant, Vangelis Polydourou.

As for what he wears to bed, Boy George doesn’t do pyjamas.

“It is supposed to help you sleep, it is supposed to affect your body temperature,” he said.

“I used to get dressed up to go to bed and then I read this thing online that said you sleep better if you sleep naked so I sleep naked ... and alone.”
