NEWLY single Keira Maguire believes her relationship with Jarrod Woodgate was doomed to fail because he was more interested in spending time with his mother than her.
While Woodgate has blamed Maguire’s obsession with Instagram for the breakup, she said his unwillingness to compromise, especially on the amount of time he spent with his mum, were major issues.
“When I moved to Melbourne to live with him, I made a lot of sacrifices and he made none,” she said.
“I moved in with his whole family. We were originally meant to live with them and then find a place of our own … when it came time he said no. He would spend more time with his mum than with me.”

Woodgate broke up with the former Sydneysider via text after an eight-month relationship which began on Bachelor In Paradise.
“Apparently I am not worth more than that,” she said. “I would have liked to have met Jarrod and talked. I haven’t seen him since we broke up.”
She said next time she knows what she doesn’t want.
“I need a city guy, no more country boys for me,” she said.
Maguire has put her heartache to work. She will soon be seen eating a “heartbreak” heart-shaped pizza in food delivery service Deliveroo’s new ad campaign.
“Having your heart broken sucks, but at least with this you get pizza while untagging every photo on social media of you together,” she said.
“I can’t help wishing that Jarrod had sent me one, although knowing him he would have scraped on the toppings.”
Maguire, who has been on The Bachelor, Bachelor In Paradise and I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!, is keen to get back to the small screen: “Let’s be honest, I belong on TV.”
