Her relationship breakdown played out in the public eye earlier this year— but Abbie Chatfield has announced she’s taking a whole new approach to the game of love.

Abbie Chatfield has made a promise to herself for 2023 — the popular TV and radio star has vowed to stay single for the coming year.

“That is the goal,” Chatfield said. “I just need to be alone. I am too busy. I date too many people so I think I am just focusing on work and buying a house. For me at the moment with how much I work and travel, I would rather just date casually.”

Chatfield recently split from long-term boyfriend, fellow reality star, Konrad Bien-Stephens.

The Daily Telegraph can reveal Chatfield will host BINGE reality TV series, FBOY Island, next year.

Filming will begin over the coming months with the format a big success in the US already but new to Australia.

“It is the perfect combination of silly but also there is a lot of drama and then hopefully the girls will find love,” she said.

“I am so glad that I am not being a contestant because I think I have gone through enough on dating shows but I am sure the girls will have a great time.”

FBOY Island is a 10-part reality series that will follow three women as they attempt to find love, “helping each other to navigate the world of dating as they attempt to uncover who are the self-proclaimed ‘nice guys’ looking for love, and who are the self-proclaimed ‘FBoys’ only there to play the game and win the cash prize.”

Chatfield of course comes with plenty of experience on dating reality shows, having first risen to national fame as a contestant on The Bachelor.

“I have been through it so I think it makes sense that I can see who does things for the camera and I can figure out who the FBoys are. I am excited to help the girls out with my experience.”

Casting is currently underway with interested single women and men urged to apply online via fboyislandcasting.com.au.

“Abbie is a bright talent who is making waves in the media and entertainment industry with her electric personality and unfiltered opinions and will be a great addition to the show,” BINGE executive director Alison Hubert-Burns said.
