Racy new sighting of newly-divorced celebrity couple

Well, that’s one way to celebrate finalising your divorce with your ex. This reality star and her newly-ex-husband seem to be getting along just fine.

US reality star Alexia Echevarria and her newly-ex-husband Todd Nepola have been spotted on a beach in Miami, Florida, looking a whole lot closer than their recent divorce news would suggest.

Real Housewives of Miami star Alexia, 57, and her 52-year-old real estate broker husband were seen kissing and cuddling on the beach, just a month after confirming that they’d finalised their divorce.

But here’s where things get confusing: In a statement issued to People last month, Alexia confirmed that while their marriage was over, their relationship was not.

“After thoughtful reflection, Todd and I have reached an amicable divorce settlement,” she told the outlet.

“While our marriage has legally ended, our relationship has not. We continue to love and support each other as we navigate this next chapter,” she added.

“We appreciate the understanding, love, and support from our family, friends, and fans.”

The pair were married in December 2021 and filed for divorce in April last year – but in November, Alexia told fans at Bravo Fan Fest that they were still “trying to figure things out.”

“We’re still working on getting better and getting stronger and figuring it out because we really do love each other a lot,” she said.

The pair aren’t the only celeb couple to rekindle their romance after filing for divorce.

It was recently revealed that Grey’s Anatomy star Eric Dane and his wife, actress Rebecca Gayheart, had quietly called off their divorce, some seven years after they’d filed.

Gayheart had initially filed for divorce in 2018, citing irreconcilable differences, but the New York Post reported last month that both stars had signed a motion to dismiss the divorce petition.

They’d earlier sparked rumours of a reconciliation when they were spotted holding hands in public in 2023.

News that they’d cancelled their divorce came as Dane publicly revealed he’s been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, and assured fans he had his “loving family” by his side as he deals with the diagnosis.
