Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart call off divorce after seven years

Seven long years after they first split, it appears this Grey’s Anatomy star and his actress wife have changed their minds.

Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart have called off their divorce after seven years.

Gayheart — who married the Grey’s Anatomy actor in August 2004 — requested the Los Angeles Superior Court to dismiss her divorce petition without prejudice on Thursday, per filings obtained by Page Six.

The Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood actress, 53, had initially filed for divorce in February 2018, citing irreconcilable differences.

At the time, she requested spousal support and joint custody of their daughters, Billie, now 15, and Georgia, now 13.

The pair was recently ordered to attend a family-centred case resolution hearing this coming Monday, according to the US Sun, which was the first to report the news.

The duo was given the options of attending the hearing or filing either a divorce judgment or dismissal.

We can confirm that they both signed the dismissal request.

Dane, 52, and Gayheart — who seemed to maintain an amicable family dynamic amid their separation — sparked reconciliation rumours in January 2023 after being photographed holding hands in Cabo San Lucas while on a family vacation.

They publicly reunited this past January as they took one of their girls to get sushi in West Hollywood, California.

Reps for the couple — who famously dealt with a leaked sex tape back in 2009 — did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
