Kyle Sandilands throws lavish first birthday party for son Otto

Radio king Kyle Sandilands has thrown an extravagant party to celebrate his son Otto’s first birthday in style with some big name guests.

Insane cost of Kyle Sandilands’ honeymoon revealed on-air

It’s been a huge year for radio king Kyle Sandilands, winning in the ratings and putting on a million dollar wedding, now he’s topping it all off with a lavish first birthday celebration for his son Otto.

The jungle-themed party — which Sandilands admitted on radio cost $25,000 — had an intimate guest list, starting with co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson who was spotted walking in with a present for the birthday boy.

Also among guests was long-time friend and Kings Cross identity John Ibrahim.

Pictures showed Sandilands and wife Tegan Kynaston beaming with their little boy.

The celebration comes after a year of soaring highs — and lows — for the always controversial shock jock.

In April, Kyle and Tegan were married in a celebrity filled ceremony in Darling Point, complete with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese in the front row.

The party, which is said to have lasted through the night, also featured a performance from Guy Sebastian and an appearance from NSW Premier Chris Minns.

It’s understood Sandilands paid a massive $150,000 on flowers alone.

The lavish wedding ceremony was of course followed by a three-week honeymoon in Spain and the south of France, revealing on air he spent $80,000 on short haul private jet flights between European cities.

The total cost of the lavish honeymoon clocked well over half a million dollars.

It wasn’t all high flying, with Sandilands dishing out the controversial takes and as always, copping the backlash.

The Australian Communications and Media Authority found he breached the code of practice in a segment last year when he described monkeypox as “the big gay disease” and expressed concern about getting it from gay colleagues.

ACMA found the comments breached decency standards.
