When will Game Of Thrones tell Jon Snow the truth about his dad?

FANS know the truth about Jon Snow but nobody else on the show — with the exception of Bran Stark — know what’s really going on. While that’s been fun, we need to know when this Game-changing event will occur.

WHEN will Jon Snow find out the truth of his parentage and that he is not a Stark but a Targaryen and the rightful ruler of Westeros?

Last week’s episode of Game Of Thrones had endless teasing lines when Jon met with Daenerys Targaryen, his aunt.

“I’m not a Stark,’ Snow said, moments before a dragon flew over him.

“I’m the last Targaryen,” said Dany.

It was funny because it was true/not true.

But, while that was amusing, fans want to know when Jon Snow will discover the truth. Spoilers to come!

Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow had a rocky start but are warming up nicely together.

We had a hint when Bran Stark returned to Winterfell and told Sansa that he needed to speak to Jon. After Bran’s previous attempts at helping people resulted in the deaths of the Three-Eyed Raven and Hodor, hopefully he’s learned a little bit of tact.

Because the truth about Jon will blow Westeros apart.

The northern lords will not want to follow a Targaryen, while Daenerys has spent so long and suffered so much to become queen, she is not going to want to hand over control to her “nephew”.

However, the series is moving towards the two of them working together.

The TV series might be called Game Of Thrones but the books are A Song Of Ice And Fire. The Red Woman Melisandre told Varys last week that she had done her part in bringing “Ice and Fire” together.

Of course there is also the prophecy of Azor Ahai, the Prince/Princess That Was Promised, a hero who is destined to defeat the Night King and end the long winter.

There has been a huge amount of speculation as to who that might be, from Jon to Dany, to The Hound and even Brienne of Tarth.

Dany gave Jon a little look in Episode 3 that hints at a coming attraction.

At the moment the prevailing thought is AA is not one person but two — Jon and Dany working together.

Interestingly, after a shaky start, Jon and Dany seem to be getting closer, as well.

The other events, with the death of Dany’s allies Olenna Tyrrell and the various Sand Snakes, have seen her isolated and needing allies.

Cersei has effectively pushed them together.

Next week’s preview hints at them growing closer still, while we have to wonder how long Jon Snow will stay at Dragonstone (after all, one of the key themes of the trailer was Jon and some others, including Beric Dondarrion, fighting for their lives up north). And, also, when will Bran stop being quite so mysterious and just start telling people what they need to know.

Number one on that list is, the truth about Jon Snow.
